Crisis Communication

Litigation Public Relations Services

There’s more to litigation than what occurs in the courtroom.
Infinite Public Relations’ litigation services include:

Developing overall communication strategies, which incorporates outlining legal and business objectives;
Analyzing the dynamics of a case from a media perspective; identifying those aspects most likely to initiate and sustain coverage; and evaluating the arguments that will be covered by our clients and their opponents;
Creating key messages from complex legal filings and supporting documents, which are delivered to the media and then conveyed to the appropriate audiences;
Handling national and local media relations, working closely with legal counsel to ensure that no public statement impairs their ability to win in court;
Monitoring and analyzing media coverage, including isolating quotes from supporters, opponents, and third-parties;
Leveraging the support of sympathetic third-parties;
Preparing materials for internal and external audiences;
Advising and assisting in direct communication to key stakeholders;
Conducting media training for designated spokespersons to prepare them to deliver clear, key, and effective messages, or serving as media spokespersons;
Attending hearings, trials, and press conferences, which will provide real-time information and analysis, for direct communication with journalists.

Pre-trial

Providing media training and developing talking points;
Creating backgrounders on the case who will assist the media during the trial and developing story ideas that support our clients’ goals to undermine the opposition’s legal and media strategy;
Crafting key internal and external messages to all critical audiences for use during litigation.

During the Trial

Arranging briefings with key journalists covering the trial;
Being the eyes and ears for the client 24/7, monitoring media coverage of the case to help reporters understand messages and to correct them when stories are inaccurate or biased;
Assisting in identifying vital third-party support;
Preparing responses to negative coverage or coverage requiring immediate responses;
Conducting research and develop surveys of public opinion to bolster a positive position;
Providing on-site presence at the courthouse to coordinate daily media outreach; especially during critical parts of the trial.

Post Trial

Managing post-verdict public relations declaring victory or announcing appeal.
